On a serious note, I have seen a lot of big4/big6 consultants move over to Baringa and every one has had positive feedback so far.
Having seen them take on ex-Accenture Partners and a large percentage of Accenture consultants, I'm told the aim was to take everything good about Accenture and drill it into a smaller team where you can make a much bigger impact. There is a lot more responsibility on your shoulders from Day 1 so the potential for career progression is tenfold.
During an intervierw, one candidate of mine referred to Accenture as "too big, too impersonal, too rigid" and then listed advantages of a boutique firm. He was offered the job (not as a direct result) but his recognition of the culture change at Baringa whilst maintaining a high level of project work was clear.
I think a rough guide of salary would be; 60-80k Consultant, 80-105k Manager, 105k+ Senior Manager. Bear in mind level of responsibility does not mirror Big4 labels in terms of Grade.
