I would be interested to garner the thoughts of this forum on the Tech Strategy and Architecture (TS&A) team at Deloitte. I believe I understand the pros and cons of a Big Four consultancy sufficiently so this is more focused on the team. I would be grateful for thoughts on:
- Reputation of team / capability at Deloitte compared to competitors
- Any knowledge of the type of work they do (beyond what is indicated on the website) particularly on how tech focused they are and away from business transformation
- Thoughts on where this direction could take me in 3-5 years if I decide the marathon to partner is not appetising.
By way of background, I have spent 3.5 years at a Systems Integrator in their consulting business (Accenture, Capgemini, Atos). I do not have a tech heavy background but have flirted around a number of business transformations over the last few years so have a strong understanding of how business and tech need to come together and how it needs to be delivered but would not say I have a deep technology grounding. I enjoy working on both camps so if TS&A is too far removed from the business side, there would be a question of fit.
