You may also be involved in business separation or business integration programmes as well as defining business improvement programmes to address specific performance issues.
Sponsors are likely to be members of the SSE Executive Team, and you will lead and support the business change implementation, acting as a single point of contact for senior stakeholders, facilitating relationships between them and managing expectations. This will involve ensuring that stakeholders understand the need for change, the available options, the analysis and decisions being made, and are committed to deliver it for their part of SSE.
You will form and lead the programme team from project design through to implementation and delivery, taking full accountability for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex programmes/large projects (typically 6-12 months).
Your Skills and Experience
As a highly experienced Senior Programme Delivery Manager, you will have a strong understanding of business change and improvement with full programme life-cycle experience from design to delivery and post-implementation review. You will be resourceful, with the ability to work autonomously with only high-level direction and adept at prioritising work to meet tight deadlines.
