Arch Oncology is an immuno-oncology company developing anti-CD47 antibodies for the treatment of cancer. Anti-CD47 therapies represent a new class of checkpoint inhibitors that bridge the innate and adaptive immune systems to attack cancer. Arch Oncology has developed a functionally diverse antibody platform and is advancing a novel anti-CD47 antibody to the clinic that not only acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor, but also selectively kills tumor cells (non ADCC). Arch Oncology is funded by top-quality venture capital investors and is advancing its lead mAb to the clinic currently., Arch Oncology has offices in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. Our research labs are in the Cortex Innovation Community in St. Louis, MO, near the Washington University School of Medicine and St. Louis University. This position is located in Brisbane, CA. Provide direction and leadership to development project team: Work with senior team to organize and lead cross-functional development team meetings, strategically manage and integrate project development plan and deliverables, interface closely with team members and recognize and implement tools needed to drive success and track progress Implement successful communication tools Partner with stakeholders to assess and develop project scope, milestones, risk assessment Proactive project oversight including setting and executing on timelines, managing budget and resources, setting and tracking project goals, managing and prioritizing critical path activities Support and draw together senior management team and work closely with project manager Help to establish and manage relationships with KOLs and other external groups At least 10 years as a project team leader with preclinical stage through clinical proof of concept experience Prior experience focusing on biologics, oncology and immune-oncology Prior experience facilitating internal research and collaborations, familiar with trial design, enrollment, trial timing, costs Experienced leader and successful track record moving projects forward efficiently Familiar with what that is needed to execute successful early phase trial (from pre-IND through clinical trial), possesses negotiation tools necessary to work with personnel across functions (preclinical, research, translational medicine, toxicology, clinical development, regulatory) Thinks strategically and is motivated by science behind drug development as well drug development challenges Strong verbal/written skills as well as good decision-making skills Can multi-task and embraces fast-paced culture, flexible/adaptable and resilient Proven ability to integrate across functions, anticipate and coordinate team drug development efforts
